Predator or prey?
Ocelots are secondary consumers, but not quite tertiary consumers. They are carnivores who live mainly off of small mammals such as monkeys and rats as well as snakes and some small birds. As seen to the left, iguanas are also a major food source of the ocelot. Ocelots are hunted by larger predators such as bobcats, coyotes, and wild dogs.
